The Gold Standard has an inflation rate of about 2%. This is because the average amount of new gold mined is about 2% of the total above ground supply annually. That is historically where the 2% figure comes from. It has nothing to do with the Fiat Standard. Any percentage of inflation today is simply currency debasement. This is why heavy gaslighting is required by the Federal Reserve, otherwise the Ponzi scheme will unravel just like it always does. There have been thousands of attempts at Fiat currency throughout history. They always end in collapse due to currency debasement. History is repeating itself, stack accordingly.
