University lecturer in genetics and broadcaster who specialises in explaining science to the public claims not to know about systematic reviews.
That's quite the admission of incompetence. I hope it comes up in his annual appraisal at UCL, as it's a level of ignorance that is not compatible with continuing to lecture in his field. I'm sure it'll be a boon for his BBC broadcasting career though.
