If you're interested in 'regulatory' #capitalism, there's been an interesting development in #NewZealand; David Symore (of right wing classical liberal party ACT NZ) has become the (likely) first ever, Minister of Regulation.
He's been appointed to assess whether laws & regulations abide by principles including the rule of law, protection of individual liberties, property rights, the fair imposition of taxes & good lawmaking processes.
Q, is this a good thing or not?
