I hate it when people say rude and mean things “jokingly”. Words mean something. It’s the laziest possible joke, and I don’t even count it as a joke since it isn’t remotely funny.
I knew a guy whose relationship with his teen daughter revolved around “jokingly” insulting each other, and it made me cringe to listen to them saying awful things to each other.
