Securely storing medical data and making it shareable and verifiable is hard. Maybe people will be able to use this NIP to create companies to do that on behalf of individuals, and people will have more options than government or the healthcare providers themselves.
Who knows how it will be used. I don't think it's going to be integrated into the social media clients we see today, but that doesn't mean someone won't find a really good way to use it.
