Thanks for the reply and links! My gut feeling is that BA is too big for us (but I may be wrong). So I've been looking at Mendoza, which looks like a really nice place, also wrt temperatures. Will investigate more.
But I'll look up the neighbourhoods you mention in BA also. Thanks again!
