Sardines are known as oily fish. But when packed in oil, they are orders of magnitude more oily than they are naturally. I just ate some sardines in spring water and they were light and flakey and really didn't seem oily at all, and I liked them more than I expected.

I'm not against seed oils in particular, but I do think modern humans consume far too much oil (separate from it's natural source) overall.
