but with all that being said, the quality of followers and their engagement is extremely high compared to Twitter. I have tracked my analytics when I go live on Twitch for example. My Mastodon alerts account for about 1/4 to 1/3 of users joining, and a similar number from my Discord server, and Tiktok. Most moving from Tiktok to Twitch to get a full screen and higher quality view.
It's interesting to actually see it happen in real time.
