because when you have weak currency, the first thing that happens is the cost of living of the people increases. purchasing power goes down so internal economy circulation goes lower. lower demand for local currency and the cycle worsen.
sure, you get more "profiting" exports, but this is only relative. when you compare dollarwise, you are just profiting the same. at the end, the cost of raw material will get higher and you ended up with higher cost of production.
all in all, the fiat system is nonsense. i work hard, get wages, only for the government to decide if they want to devalue my money tomorrow or the day after that
