At the end of the day, social media “likes” are a communication protocol for signaling value.
My hunch is that Zaps (sending Sats to the content creator) is a superior communication protocol because the medium you exchange (Sats vs likes) is of limited supply and more valuable than “likes”, thus making them a superior proxy for each individual’s true value-assessment.
This is a paradigm shift. I wonder how it impacts the general content on social media? 🤔
