Could be suddenly, and still be OK…
The turnover for NYC bodegas, delis, pubs is par-for-the course in NYC. If the building and the location are solid, the old one closes and a new one opens; minimal loss of capital. Same with well built buildings/homes/offices. They can be repriced and change owners with modest net loss. There are definitely winners and losers; but I’m generally good - can still grab a pint, bagel, rent a flat.
When/if the purchasing power of the dollar rapidly falls (say months/years) and *everything* gets repriced; could the same be true? Well made stuff gets repriced and purchased by those who have enough Bitcoin.
Seems like other historic fiat hyper-inflation events have not necessarily been “society ending” as long as there’s an alternative better money in play. They have just jumped to USD.
Difference will be they will just jump to bitcoin.
