I have spent £672 (inc VAT) on a new computer to experiment with #AI #LLM systems. This is mainly for #moodle #edtech experimentation.
Specification
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 5600
Memory: Corsair 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz
Graphics: Palit RTX 3060 12GB
I have configured #Ollama and downloaded several models. It will load and run qwen:32b
I will post the results of some of my tests. I welcome any suggestions for models/prompts and suggestions for “what I should have bought is a …” ideas.
