so there is a reverse psyop going around about a cyber pandemic in which electricity shuts off and flights and so on.

I'm pretty sure this is just to scare people into cash and coins. maybe that's why there's such a liquidity crunch as everyone hoards their cash. But even the $1 coins are actually worth the metal they are printed on

i did have a happy dream in which gold and bitcoin lived side by side. you could have gold or bitcoin or both.

since i'm not hoarding gold coins in a cabin, i need to imprint myself on people's memories by making sure they remember i was nice to them in the good times so maybe they'll keep me around in the famine times.

"i promise i'll pay you in bitcoin when the electricity turns back on" might start ringing a little hollow after a couple days. but paper cash also just seems so silly to hoard up.
