I do think there’s a substantive difference between that and something that is essentially represented as a customer service rep advising on company policy, but I do think there’s reason to be extremely cautious about anything completely automated. Ironically, there’s probably a case to be made that an absence of direct human oversight limits liability. Dunno, not a lawyer.
