Thanks for shedding light on this. I did come across this GitHub repo that does transmit bitcoin transactions (albeit on the testnet) using the Meshtastic python API:
https://github.com/brh28/btc-meshI am fairly new to Meshtastic and have no experience in bitcoin development, however I wondered if it would be possible to have it incorporated. Like you suggested to at least propagate a signed bitcoin transaction on Meshtastic in remote areas, for instance, and broadcast it on an internet connected node.
