That's interesting and I kind of get it. For me, there is an additional switching cost. I can't easily go from focused technical work to the mindset I need in order to be effective at socializing and collaborating. I feel like consolidating most meetings on a single day means I pay that cost once and have more energy and attention left over to give everyone an equal share on the day.
