oh ok but the point i was originally going to make is that there’s plenty of heresy and apocrypha that is not specifically gnostic.

I dont like the word “Heresy” I feel like its overused and its hard to commit downright heresy unless you are a faker in faith.

(another case of a work where early Christian thinkers regarded something as valuable and canonical and it has fallen completely to the wayside)

I am starting to think God allows these things to be obscure. to find real believers who will scrape the bottom of the barrel and will keep looking for more.

my biggest problem with the protestants is how they removed the apocrypha and made it noncanon. so all modern bibles dont include it. protestants were the original “return to tradition” guys in most cases.
