It's not a backup system because of what we just talked about. In a backup system, you shouldn't have to worry about a bit flip. If in some of my families photos a bit flipped, I don't care! I do not need bit-by-bit the same data, I just need the data to be there if I lose the primary copy!
With Annex, a bit flip means hassle. With a backup system not so much.
