The censorship resistance is from being controlled by a centralized platform owner. There is nothing stopping somebody from having an anonymous account here that is not connected to any other public profile. The reach of an account is very probably dependent on the reputation of the the verified owner. That’s not really a technology thing, it’s a social construct.
