sometimes i wonder why i'm conscious
when i was born, my body developed my brain, and some sort of consciousness would've formed eventually
it wouldn't matter if i or someone else were conscious as me
i feel like at some point early on, i chose to be "alive"
but knowing my ass, it wasn't as much of a choice than it probably was me stepping up because nothing in the infinite void of the universe wanted this baby to have a soul, and i said "fuck it, guess i'll do it"
