By the way, the default on Chivo is address reuse (I know because I've been paying some Salvadoreans onchain recently).
(And yes I know you should use Lightning, I've been paying Chivo users for 2+ years, it's just that these people in particular are very non tech savvy and getting this far was already hard. Also, if you need to pay several thousand you might not be able to do it with LN).
