"content": "We took a little break when we got to the first hill. The guidebook mentioned that this was the hardest and steepest hill of the walk, so we were prepared, but it was still very hard. We hadn't expected the ground to be so wet and boggy and it seemed that the higher we climbed, the boggier it became. This didn't just make the ascent difficult, but it killed up on the descent. Soon my legs started shaking and my knee started hurting. Because of the mud and the bogginess, we had to walk very carefully and I was very grateful for my trekking poles which prevented me from wiping out a few times.
