well, you're only seeing the outdoor heat pump.
A mini-split has discrete heating/cooling units, usually in each room/"zone".
I have (very shitty, improperly insulated and hung) flexible ductwork in the attic that moves air from a single air handler to outlet vents in multiple rooms.
The 2-ton Daikin looks very small compared to the 5-ton Trane it's next to, though.
