If you want to know how strong a woman truly is look at how soft she is.

Look at how deeply she trusts life, look at how completely she is able to surrender to whatever feelings are arising in each moment, look at how unconditionally she loves, how tenderly she touches, and how at peace she is in her heart.

Because those things don't come easily. To become soft in this way is to have had every hard edge painfully worn away by life.

To be truly strong is not to conquer the world, it's to conquer your own mind. To be truly strong is to keep your heart open in a world that has broken it countless times. It's to let go of all defences and live from a place of utter vulnerability.

Yes, to be truly strong is to be as soft as a feather; it's to have learned to live from a place of pure grace . . . and what a beautiful sight that is to behold.
