Just in case you thought lower inflation has eased the cost of living crisis, spare a thought for the 1.6m households that during then next nine months will see their cheap fixed rate mortgage deals end & be shifted to new mortgages with (often) up to three times the interest rate (and associated payments).
The BoE shows little sign of recurring rates so their sado-moneterist aim of causing workers pain to disciple them will continue; 'if its not hurting, its not working'
