I talk about considering myself a neo-Luddite a lot, and I see others online reclaiming the term as well, but the real power of the Luddites was in their organization and I just don't see that happening in response to AI and the gig economy, the power looms and factories of the 21st century.
The writers guild, SAG-AFTRA, and other trade unions are a part of that, but we also need individuals organizing at a regional level outside their work place and confederating in industrial unions.
