When you're blocking lace, it tends to expand mostly width-wise, right? I'm trying to knit this to a given length and I don't mind leaving it on the needles while I block and making adjustments as needed, but I'm trying to figure out what is a good rule of thumb.
I'm looking to hear peoples' experience, especially if you knit a lot of lace! #knitting
