Bringing into focus how moderation differs between the fediverse and #Bluesky can be difficult. Familiarity with the fediverse can even put us at a disadvantage when we try to think through the shape Bluesky is likely to take. One important difference is that instance admins on both can moderate posts and accounts on their own server, but AFAICT Bluesky admins will have comparatively fewer tools for dealing with incoming posts. That's a hugely consequential difference, IMO.
