Day two of my first Cybersecurity conference notes:
1.) I have so many socks and tumblers now.
2.) Execs are hardcore about the scavenger hunt points. Not sure why but hey, we all gotta do whatever it takes to enjoy life.
3.) Very little “new” information has been presented to me, but there have been a few nuggets of expansion on my understanding and reinforcement of some concerns I’ve had about my team’s ability to successfully audit certain systems.
4.) if I go again next year I’ll get a room on my own dime (it’s only an hour commute so my district won’t pay for the hotel, which is totally understandable) cause I think many of the after event dinners and happy hours would have been good opportunities to network better.
5.) 2 days is enough for a conference but there’s still tomorrow to go to. 🤣😂
