Faisal Al Nuqbi (Al Fujairah) under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad Al Sharqi, Crown Prince of Fujairah, has launched the 11th edition of the Fujairah International Fishing Championship 2024, with a charitable theme, and the proceeds will go to charitable associations. The winning team will receive an official invitation from the International Fishing Association to participate in the finals, and the team that accumulates the most points during the championship will be declared the winner. For the first time, the 2025 World Marine Fishing Championship will offer three invitations to the top three winning teams to participate in Costa Rica. So far, 36 teams and 200 fishermen have registered, and the registration is still open. The organizing committee will hold a meeting today to complete the registration and distribute the championship materials, as well as provide a detailed explanation of the changes and updates related to the local and international regulations and rules of the International Fishing Association.
