Do you know what OSINT is?

OSINT stands for Open-source intelligence, and is a technique for capturing and analisys of information about someone, gathered from open sources on the internet, such as social networks and platforms.

It was primarily used by USA's National Security, law enforcement and business intelligence, but is something that anyone can use for any purpose.

Why you should be aware of this kind of thing?

Well, not only governments can fuck you off with this kinda stuff, but some private thiefs may also, such as scammers.

There is some free tools for scanning people's info on the internet, such as this one below, which is called "sherlock" (check out the repository on github: https://github.com/sherlock-project/sherlock#installation).

Someone malicious may use that tool for seeking info about people to scam them, but you can use that for seeking for accounts that have info about you, and try to remove it ASAP.
