Take my truck into the shop. Front end makes a "clunk" if I step on the gas and a few clunks when it downshifts rapidly. Say to guy "I think it might be a motor mount, maybe c-v shaft joint, hopefully not the transfer case but it's possible" they tell me it's the transfer case, take it to a trans shop. Trans shop tells me... it's the fucking motor mounts... 😑
Better than the trans case but seriously wtf? I'm an amateur at this. Brakes, bulbs and plugs is all I do. You do this every fucking day.
