No shade, but I think something to remember is that devs like Vitor expect a world where your state is stored on relays. The phone means nothing other than some cache and a safe place to store an nsec. Their actions (and notes) seem to suggest they don't see value in simple offline apps that just store things locally.
Again not every app needs to be a nostr app.
