Human destructiveness urgently needs limits. #Nature conservation is fundamental to this. If a major polluter, #agriculture, shows no interest in voluntary reforms, laws are needed. However, if the planned rules contain clauses stating that renaturation measures must not hinder agricultural production and that farmers cannot be obliged to do so, this runs counter to the requirements. For such a toothless tiger, any effort can be saved.
