In my late 20s I tried one and three messages in (over the course of a week or so) I was recommended drugs. Unfortunately I got on them and stayed on them for two years. While I'm sure SSRIs serve some real purpose for *some* people they made me feel like a zombie. Never in my life have I been a more happy and distracted slave. That was years ago and I tell people to stay off of them now.
