The SNP's mania for centralisation has caused absolute havoc for rural H&I region, they couldn't run the proverbial piss up in a brewer, never mind a country, and still the fools vote for them.

Surging numbers of officers quit Police Scotland shortly after joining leaving the force “at breaking point”, the Telegraph can disclose. Figures obtained under freedom of information laws revealed that between April 2020 and January 2025, a total of 513 police officers left the force after serving five years or less.
The numbers of people who left within five years more than doubled between 2021 and 2024 from 66 to 143. Stephen Kerr, the Tory MSP who obtained the figures, said they followed almost two decades of “chronic underfunding” of Police Scotland by the SNP government, which he accused of a “blatant disregard for public safety”.
The Scottish Police Federation (SPF), which represents rank-and-file officers, described the disclosure as “yet another stark warning sign that policing in Scotland is at breaking point”. It emerged this week that Scotland has lost nearly 800 police officers since it became a unified national force 12 years ago, leading to concerns about how it is able to cope. The policing strength of Police Scotland has dropped from 17,324 in April 2013, when it was formed, to just 16,553 this year – despite past promises to put an extra 1,000 officers on the beat.
