Initial observations, it's orange not yellow, the battery screws in place, the buttons are kinda stiff, it is not going to float, VFO mode is via turning it on whilst holding menu, the belt clip is shit, the box says IP67, that little gap is just a cover for the external microphone connection which is pogo pins (so not worried) although I realise I have no programming cable!
