LOL, no, hamas was funded and armed by Iran with arms smuggled primarily over the Philadelphi Corridor on the border with Egypt. Which is why hamas continues to insist on that piece of territory in the negotiations. But i'm sure Philadelphi is of only trivial importance to hamas, they couldn't possibly have any real use for it.
