STOP FUCKING ASSUMING EVERYONE IS A DEVELOPER.
If you have a way to make precompiled binaries for multiple distros, JUST DO IT
If you don't wanna because you don't wanna make more than one MAKE A FLATPAK/SNAP/APPIMAGE
If your distrobution method outside of Ubuntu is for the end user to compile from source, YOU HAVE FAILED
This is why no one will take Linux seriously outside of dev work, STOP ASSUMING USERS ARE DEVELOPERS.
Today's rant brought to you by quickGUI, an easy way to set up MacOS VMs on Linux that requires setting up a flutter environment with a specific version in order to compile for anything other than Ubuntu. Easy my ass.
