just installed the same application on both #MacOS and #Fedora. Fedora, I clicked Install and ran the application.
MacOS, I downloaded the dmg & added to Applications, launched the app, MacOS prevented from launching tell me it's damaged and offered to move it to the trash for me, opened system settings, navigated to Security, scrolled to the bottom & clicked "Open Anyway", i launched the application, I had to confirm again via dialog box and then confirm again via TouchID & the app opened.
