Abu Dhabi (the Union) has welcomed warships from around the world to the Adenik Marina, the coastal front, in preparation for the 8th edition of the International Defence and Security Exhibition Nadex 2025. The exhibition will feature an exceptional fleet of naval vessels from eight countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Oman, Pakistan, Greece, South Korea, and India. In a statement, Vice Admiral Rashid Ibrahim Rashid Al-Mehaisni, Chairman of the Nadex 2025 Naval Committee, said: We are proud to be the focal point of international attention, with thousands of dignitaries and decision-makers from around the world participating in Nadex and IDEX events. This edition of Nadex is expected to be the largest and most distinguished since its inception, with the naval defence exhibition showcasing 21 warships from friendly countries, including newly manufactured vessels with advanced technology. Participants will be able to display their vessels of various sizes, showcasing their capabilities in the live demonstrations area of Nadex on the Adenik Marina platform, as well as in the Zayed Port, which will host larger vessels. The exhibition will feature a significant increase in international and local participation in specialized defence and security technologies. According to Saif Al-Mansoori, Defence Events Advisor at Adnec Group: The current edition of Nadex has become a leading platform for showcasing the latest technologies and developments in the fields of defence and naval security. He added that Adnec Abu Dhabi has welcomed decision-makers, industry leaders, and innovators to explore new horizons in the future of defence and naval security, and has expanded the exhibition area for participants, with a noticeable increase in the number of companies and countries showcasing their latest advanced technologies, solidifying Abu Dhabi's position as a global hub for the defence industry. The organizing committee welcomed the first batch of naval vessels as they passed through the waterway en route to Adenik Marina, which varied in size and purpose. In addition to the reception of Adenik Marina, Zayed Port will also welcome many other naval vessels participating in Nadex 2025, contributing to the global presence of this significant event.
