I always thought it was weird how in Harry Potter, wizardry was heralded, but witches were almost never referenced. Everyone was a good or bad wizard. Witches were almost never discussed. They spent a lot of time talking about wizards and almost zero time talking about witches or witchcraft. When I watched the films I thought they were all wizards. Hermoine, McGonigal, Mrs. Weasley.
