Haha liberland... Those Serbs are so funny. I spent almost 3 years nearby in Novi Sad... The internet chatter makes a lot more of it than it is. The Serbs and Croats governments can't agree about it. In fact it's mostly swamp at the side of the Danube.
The culture around that stretch of the river is very interesting. I once visited a little island on one side near towards the train station that some dudes were squatting... Built a bunch of things, tables, some shelter... Sat and smoked weed and drank Lav or something. Was very cool.
