Also it is your opinion that anything the nodes accept is a valid use case. A lot of bugs exist in the codebase and those should be valid too.
If we look at the whitepaper, no mention of data storage. Nothing in the code that intends to allow arbitrary data storage either. Or the name.
A system has compromises, such as allowing the “storage” of arbitrary data in Bitcoin. That does not mean it’s right, the best choice or that we should/can’t do anything about it
