Forgiveness is for the wronged party, to keep from being consumed by bitterness. The unrepentant by definition can't be forgiven, because if they are, you are agreeing with them that what they did was not wrong.
You must be ready to forgive from your end, while keeping your distance from them as best you can and moving on as best you can
