The suspect was not familiar with the victim — he simply saw the 41-year-old Ukrainian woman in the park. He approached the woman from behind, grabbed her by the shoulder and stabbed her several times in the head and neck. The victim was able to run a few meters away, but tripped and fell — while she was lying on the ground, the assailant continued to stab her.
When people began to gather at the shouts, the Afghan ran away.
