I adopted this philosophy a while back:
It's either the worst it can possibly be, if that's the case then you have nowhere to go but up. If it's not the case then rejoice, because it means you've not hit rock bottom.
I know it's a bit gay but it's genuinely made me a lot less stressed when things around me go wrong and helps me deal with those things :D
