We always name our dogs based on something from their country of ‘origin’ our French mastiffs were Bella, Brie & Rouxe, our Shetland sheep dogs are Tyrion & Shae.
There’s an Australian dessert called Pavlova - which of course would quickly be shortened to Pavlov
