"Nearly katsuramukied today. 🙂 Had a lovey lunch with Gilbért, Lucia and a beautifully eclectic group of artists and other interesting peoples. While we were chatting after lunch one of the waiting staff used a chef's knife to stir fruit in a running industrial blender.
The knife hit the blender blades, shot up into the air, missing her (amazingly), and flew towards me before landing 2 cm from where I was sitting on a bench, then bouncing away from me (thankfully). It was VERY scary for all who saw it.
It took a second only, but I experienced it in slow motion, watching this knife spinning its way towards me. Many in the cafe told me to buy a lottery ticket - they were so sure it was going to hit me. Truly, I could have been filleted, but all is well, and this piece of karma has been dramatically released, for both the waitress and myself."
