Got script for Paxlovid and provider warned about possible high cost. Mine was covered, but later saw a post on here about someone in the US with a + Covid test, who got a Paxlovid script, but insurance wouldn’t cover and pharmacy charged >$1K. A commenter linked to a WashPo article about a poorly known gov. program covering Paxlovid.
Was able to send gift link to provider who saw me. They had no idea! Hoping this will help someone who needs it.
